The Bo people are led by the Magus, whose dark influence led them down a path of destruction.

Defeating Bo Magus will automatically unlock Ending 1 - Successor of the Bo, so make sure this is the ending you wish to achieve before fighting her. The decision is irreversible. You can find all the necessary steps to achieve this ending in our Endings Guide.

Worship’s Rise in Ruins: From Shu Sanctum, take the right path uphill to reach the Tang Emperor’s Palace, progressing down Palace Pass, where you’ll fight Vermilion Feathers - Honglan. Defeat her, then go through the Underground Palace to find Bo Magus at the bottom.

Avian Dwelling: The Bo Sorcerer is at the end of the Avian Marsh; however, you can knock down a tree near the boss arena back to the Avian Dwelling shrine.

Mt Zhewu

Chimera - Fang Ling is the second and final phase of the Perfect Bride - Fang Ling battle.

Cloudspire

The formidable Commander of the Imperial Guards, and the final boss of the Worship’s Rise area.

Palace Hill: Commander Honglan can be found in the center of the Tang Emperor’s Palace after using the Buddha Statue to drain the water.

At such an early stage of the game, the battle with Honglan can be brutally hard. We were able to get through it with multiple different builds and approaches, however. We’ve broken them all down here in our Commander Honglan Boss Guide, so check it out for help with how to beat this tricky boss.

The first step is to make sure you complete all quest steps for Fang Yao, He Youzai, and the White-Robed Elder. Check out our Fang Yao Guide, He Youzai Guide and White-Robed Elder Guide for full walkthroughs on how to do this. This allows Fang Yao, and He Youzai to be present in Chapter 4, and also unlocks the boss fight with the White-Robed Elder at the Tomb area.

Shu Sanctum: From the shrine, go to the top of the Sanctum by taking the stairs, and open the door at the top to find the boss.

Feathery Ambition - Xuanyangzi is the final boss of Ending 2 - Dream’s Sweet Deceit, Ending 3 - Jarful of Medicine, and Ending 4 - Bound by Fate’s Threads. We have outlined all the steps to achieve each ending in our WUCHANG All Endings Guide.

Rebel Camp: First, you’ll need to get the Rebel Camp Key. Now, head back to the shrine and take the nearby ladder down. Go down the slope and open the gate to initiate the boss battle.

A terrifying man-eating demon, and daughter of the grave keeper of Worship’s Rise.

Shu Sanctum: From the shortcut tree leading to Shu Sanctum, go across the shortcut, turn left, and then right before going up the bloody stairs to the right. If you have not opened the shortcut, you can find the boss by progressing through the optional village area past the Face-Changer enemy.

Dhutanga sealed Lightzen Temple after the Feathering outbreak and now oversees the unholy rites within.

Lightzen Temple: To the right of the shrine is a courtyard leading to a small building. Go through it and open the gates to find the boss.

The unwavering Ming General Liu Cheng’en, who defended Snowpeak Pass without ever yielding.

Cloudspire Outskirts: Either defeat Ai Nengqi first or light all three braziers to lower the drawbridge to Snowpeak Pass. Then head back to Cloudspire Outskirts shrine, unlocking the shortcut gate along the way. From the shrine, go through the shortcut and follow the path to the end before turning right and going across the drawbridge.

The ruler of Snowfall Palace, the Madam employed every means at her disposal to expand her influence.

Snowfall Palace: From the shrine, go into the building to the right of the palace stairs, and follow the path to the end. Take the elevator down, and continue along the path before turning right in the middle of the corridor.

Bai Kru was a boy whom the Bai family had high hopes for, but before reaching adulthood, he transformed into a demon and committed patricide—an act that, for him, was mere amusement.

Bai Mansion: Bai Mansion is an optional area accessed by taking the boat to the right of the pier in Ferry Overlook, which is just past the storyteller, who you’ll find after the last boss. In Bai Mansion, go into the tunnel to the left of the shrine to find the boss.

Shu Sanctum (Chapter 4): Located in the same place you fought Lu Hongliu. From the Shu Sanctum shrine, go to the tree shortcut, and head across the shortcut. Turn left, then right, before proceeding up the stairs to the right.

Perfect Bride - Fang Ling is the first of a two-phase boss fight. Defeat her, and you will face Chimera - Fang Ling in the second phase.

Bride’s Boudoir: From the shrine, head across the wooden bridge to fall into the boss arena. Note: Use the elevator first to unlock a shortcut to the Shaft Entrance shrine.

Cloudspire

A ritual at Doomwillow Beach infused the Soulwood with Red Mercury, transforming it into a raging demon.

Lu Mansion: From the shrine, take the elevator down, and go left to the pools of blood. Go right, and right again at the next intersection, and follow the path to the end to find the boss. Note: You can climb a ladder on your right as you go down this path to make a shortcut to the Doomwillow Beach shrine.

Worship’s Rise

A general wielding an exotic weapon imbued with thunder and lightning, leading to triumph in countless battles.

Zhenwu Antechamber: Go through the area until you unlock the shortcut to the Antechamber shrine. Go through the shortcut, go right, and take the stairs inside. This is located below a bridge that leads to the Refugee Camp shortcut as well.

A fallen Sovereign resurrected by South General Liu Wenxiu, now reborn as a demonic tiger.

Defeat the Fierce Tiger.

The demonic form of a former maid from the Tang Emperor’s Palace, long lost to madness.

Buddha Cliffs: You will come across this boss naturally as part of the story.

Palace Hill: Inside the building you climbed to reach the Palace Hill shrine. From the shrine, go back onto the roof, go down the ladder, and follow the building around the corner to the right to find the entrance to the building.

Burning Cavern: From the shrine and enter the nearby cavern (this is the cavern you started the game at). Go through the cavern to the end and go down the stairs to start the boss fight.

Worships Rise in Ruins

An optional encounter with a winged version of the Chapter One Boss.

You will need to defeat Vermilion Feathers - Honglan to reach the Underground Palace in the Ruins of Worship’s Rise area.

Palace Pass: After passing through the Tang Palace in Chapter 4, descend the cliffs at Palace Pass. At the bottom is a cliff-edge with a hurricane circle underneath. Drop onto the circle to avoid fall damage, and you’ll see Honglan waiting for you at the bottom.
