The quest The Cursed Chasm is very lucrative on its own right, if you’re up to fighting the wraiths and wolves that prowl the eponymous chasm - you can expect to walk away with plenty of loot, as well as the legendary sword 
Durandal, after all. If that’s not incentive enough, another item of note awaits - the

Find the Treasure Map - Silver Cache during The Cursed Chasm quest.
Starting Finders Keepers¶
Starting this quest is conceptually simple - you need to all but complete The Cursed Chasm, as follows:
- Start The Cursed Chasm by talking to the innkeeper in his establishment along the western edge of Altenarkt, in
Svartrau City. - Descend into the chasm and defeat Echo, her wraiths, and the wolves.
- Loot the corpses and debris to find the Treasure
Map: Silver Cache to start this quest.
Simple enough to write, bit more work to actually complete, especially if you’re not leveled, as the wraiths will likely be higher level than you, and a solid challenge on any difficulty above story. For best odds, fight them at night and keep the wolves around to feast on to recover health, as needed.
Finding the Silver Cache¶
Anywho, once you’ve plundered the treasure map, give it a gander in your inventory and return back to the Coward’s Path shrine, which is on the road that leads to the broken bridge you investigated at the start of 
The Cursed Chasm. From here, follow these directions:
- Follow the road downhill to the northeast until you reach a fork.
- Take the left fork and follow the road north to a sacked hut - you may encounter boars here.
- Enter the fenced-in yard in front of the hut, turn east, northeast, the follow a road in that direction.
- Follow the path east, northeast until the trail to the left opens up. If you go far enough to reach the Briar Slough Hillock shrine, you’ve gone too far.
- Follow the broad path ahead of the shrine uphill to the north, northwest, towards a sloped rock.
Boss - Pack Leader¶
In front of this rock you’ll find a pack of wolves - around a half dozen of them, lead by a Pack Leader miniboss. Despite its name and healthbar, its just a pretentious mutt, but good fodder for Durandal, if you have it equipped. Cut these uppity hounds down and loot the shallow cave under the rock to find disturbed earth. It’ll cost 2 TIME to dig this up, and when you do, loot the container you find to score a 
Silver Cache Letter and a fitting bounty of silver trinkets. Maybe it’ll be of use against 
Brencis and his vrakhiri later on?
Whatever the case, this quest will and and in addition to a sack full of silver, you’ll walk away with 100 EXP and 1x Skill Point.
