Unlocking some of the trophies and achievements in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will ask you to do some miscellaneous tasks not related to something. One of the mechanics for fighting revolves around the Madness Gauge, which is located in the upper left corner of the screen. Depending on the combat style you’re using, you will either create some clones or summon some otherworldly creature using a dark instrument. For the purposes of this page, you will be focusing on the Mad Dog Style, which creates clones.

Unlocking the Majima Everywhere Trophy/Achievement

As mentioned above, the Madness Gauge is unlocked fairly early into the game, when you just have access to the Mad Dog Style. It will gradually fill up over time as you fight, but once it’s full, you can press R2/RT to use it. In the Mad Dog Style, using the Madness Gauge will create some clones that operate independently from you, with them attacking enemies pretty relentlessly. At the start of the game, you will only create two clones, but there are upgrades that can increase the number.

(1 of 3) Using the Madness Gauge in Mad Dog Style will summon shadowy clones of yourself.

In total, you can have up to four clones every time you use the ability, once you purchase all of the related upgrades for it. In order to unlock this trophy/achievement, you will need to have created a total of 56 clones across your entire playthrough. That means if you don’t get any of the upgrades, you will need to use the Madness Gauge with the Mad Dog Style a total of 28 times. Should you get all of the upgrades and start from there, then that can be reduced to only 14 times you’ll need to use it. Considering there is a trophy associated with the Madness Gauge and the Sea Dog Style, you might end up forgetting about this one for a bit.

Remember that your default fighting style in Hawaii is the Mad Dog Style, so it might be a good idea to just run around there, picking fights with random enemies while farming this trophy/achievement.

Ring of the Tempest

It should be noted that there is a ring that you can use that could possibly slow down the progress on this trophy/achievement. That is the Ring of the Tempest, which you can get while doing the Devil Flags storyline in the Atali Island region. While equipped, this ring will make it so that two of your clones will mimic your movements. While it can be extremely powerful, it limits the clones out on the field to only two, so you can see that it would slow down progress towards this.
