As you’re working on The Hermit side quest for the Blacksmith in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you’ll eventually be led to deliver a message of forgiveness to a widow. This is an optional Task, but it directly impacts The Hermit quest and should give you a clearer picture on the circumstances surrounding him and the situation he finds himself in. The wolves scattered the shepherd Smoliek’s sheep and one ran into the forest. The wolves have probably gotten their teeth into her long ago, but it would help Smoliek to have her ear as proof he didn’t sell her.

Trosky chamberlain, the right hand of Otto von Bergow, claims that the castle is infested with devils and that this is nothing out of the ordinary. He asked me to help him exorcise the devils. I am supposed to ask three scared people where the devils are coming from and then sprinkle those places with water. I am curious to see what happens.

One of the more difficult to find Tasks in the Kuttenberg region of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, The Reliquary Task involves meeting with a rather shady knight who asks you to help him out at the nearby Sedletz Monastery. Visit our guide here for a full walkthrough.

Not far from the Sedletz graveyard I met a knight who told me about his role model, Sir Valentine, who is said to have once made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem and brought back soil from a holy field. They say Valentine is buried in the church graveyard, and the knight asked me if I could bring him his sword.

If you ask me, Zdimir the blacksmith boasts about the skills of his apprentice, Matthias, a bit too much. He even suggested we make a bet on who can forge the best hunting sword. The winner gets both weapons and a nice pile of groschen on top.

While Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has a fantastic, detailed map, there are times where you need to be diligent if you want to complete a quest or task. This is especially true for completionists and Achievement/Trophy hunters, as some of these are easily missable. Builder Johann Parler is working on the Church of Saint Barbara, and he wants to protect the building from fire and lightning with a bit of magic. He couldn’t get his hands on a magical talisman or thunderstone anywhere, so he wants me to steal three protective talismans from Kuttenberg burghers, to melt them down, and forge a protective axe out of them to get rid of any evidence.

There are certain quests that, when completed in specific manners, will lead to a follow-up Task or Quest, where you can learn what happened next and put a resolution to it. Quests and Tasks come in all shapes and sizes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and while some can be just as large as a main quest, equally, there are many that won’t take you long to complete at all. Still, if you want that completionist Achievement, you’re going to need to do most of them and some are easily missable. An old widow is looking for someone to stand for her in a duel.

Speak to Karel Arrowhead, who you’ll find along the path between Grund and Devil’s Den. You must complete the Speak of the Devil main quest before he will appear.

I met a man on a forest path with an arrow stuck in his head. His name is Karel, and he promised me a reward if I help him carry some sacks to his camp.

Every mine shaft in Kuttenberg has been getting ready for the miners’ annual popinjay competition. Foreman Vlach invited me to come watch their champion Anton Kaspar win. The competition takes place in the morning at the shooting range in Hoprink.

If you’re looking to fully complete Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and unlock all of the Achievements/Trophies, you’re going to have to complete the vast majority of quests on offer. The Danemark Mill was occupied by a band of cutthroats. They slaughtered the hired hands and took miller Hermann’s family captive.

It won’t be long in the Kuttenberg region until you’re taking on odd jobs, and an early task in this massive new region is The White Roebuck, a Task you can pick up in Suchdol, the area you’re currently based out of following the events in Trosky. For a full walkthrough, visit our guide here.

Sigismund’s soldiers are not exactly loving each other. One of them, Thomas of Kolin, would like to discreetly get his hands on a sword belonging to a cuman called Basan, and I’m supposed to help him.

The old miller locked his wife in a shed and apparently went to fetch an axe. It’s time to teach him a lesson in manners!

The lads from Miskowitz are training in fistfights after the incident with the Praguers. Maybe I could learn something too.

The Kuttenberg swordsman’s brotherhood decided to hold a tournament, which the town council approved as a tournament is sure to contribute to their town’s greater glory. For me, it’s a great opportunity to improve my swordsmanship and perhaps win a valuable prize and a bit of fame.

Janek, the Semine blacksmith’s hired hand, is preparing for a big race, and he’s heard about magical horseshoes, thanks to which a horse never slips and runs as fast as the wind. If I could forge him such horseshoes, he would pay me well.

A scholar named Johann Schindel was apparently robbed by Goatskin. If I get back his possessions, he’s sure to reward me.

In Lower Semine Mill, the hired hands pass the time with fistfights. I could try my hand against them too.

At the cemetery in Kuttenberg, I could meet the strongest fighter around. Maybe it’s a superstition, maybe I’m going to fight for the title of grandmaster

Henry seeks salvation in the Kuttenberg region and the priests send him on a pilgrimage.

In the nomad camp, I met two riders whose disagreement about which horse race is the best seemed unsolvable. But that wouldn't be me if I didn't get involved and try to settle it. First, however, it was necessary to prove myself to them so that they would even consider me an equal horseman.

Innkeeper Grosch from Grund has trouble with a gang that comes to his inn and makes a mess. They’re led by a man called Eggman, and the innkeeper has it in for him.
