How to get Mongrel Fur in Hogwarts Legacy

The very first Mongrel Fur item you get in Hogwarts Legacy comes from the Professor Sharp classroom potion tutorial. You head into his room, and the Mongrel Fur skin is on his desk.

As for other sources, Mongrel Fur is an item that drops from the wolf like enemies in the world map. How to get Troll Bogeys in Hogwarts Legacy

Troll Bogeys in Hogwarts Legacy are gathered from two methods:

1. Fighting Trolls
2. Buying them from stores

Killing Trolls will largely guarantee you at least one bogey per kill. You can typically find trolls in Troll Caves. You can find these areas on the map through the cave icon on the world map. These are often found near cliffsides and mountains in rocky areas of the map. The only area we have reliably found wild trolls are around the Feldcroft region, with two Troll Lairs around the castle and mountainside. Killing trolls in this area can award up to 6 Bogeys per kill.

Alternatively, you may buy Troll Bogeys in Hogwarts Legacy via the J. Pippin’s Potions Store in Hogsmeade. You can buy them in limited quantities for 100 each, and he normally shelves 5 of the item.

The fur is shed by the gold-coveting Nifflers inhabiting the Hogwarts region. Niffler fur can be used to upgrade and assign traits to gear
