Lim Eraser Location - Destroying Filament Masses

A lot of games that allow you to re-explore areas after finishing them will usually have some kind of obstacle in your way that you can’t do anything about until you acquire an ability later. This is true in Pragmata, as there are large barriers, called Filament Masses, as early as Sector 1. These are basically blockades that you won’t be able to pass until you get something later in the game. The blockades usually have items behind them, or they provide shortcuts so you don’t have to take the long way around. Thankfully, this will be something you get as part of the story, and it won’t take too long to finally get your hands on it.

The Lim Eraser is an ability for Diana that lets you destroy the filament masses.

Where to Find the Lim Eraser¶

During the course of the second Sector, you will have to go around the area and disable some locks for the giant gate. It will be a while, but once you get near the end and only have a single beacon left, you will enter the Lim Recycling Facility block. It is here that you will be introduced to the Lim Recycler, which isn’t what you need, but it’s a good indicator of where you are in the level. Just past that will be a pit you drop into, avoiding circling lasers. Keep going and you’ll eventually reach more lasers, in a specific pattern.

Just past that is the room where you can get the Lim Eraser from the pedestal. Grab it and the ability will be unlocked, allowing you to destroy those filament masses now. Whenever you encounter them, simply get close enough and a button prompt will appear. Hold that button and Diana will break them down, destroying them and you can get past them. There are a lot of them in the beginning area of Sector 2, plus some in Sector 1 that you can go back to whenever you get a chance.

There’s not much else to do with these, but after getting the Lim Eraser, you can return to Sector 1 and finish it with 100%. You can’t miss this and need it to progress in the main story.
