Pokémon Pokopia has lots of DIY recipes which allow you to get your perfect home underway early on, but these require various materials such as leaves, lumber, small logs and more. However, acquiring Lumber is a bit of a process so read on to find out how to gather them.
Pokemon with the Chop Specialty can convert Logs into Lumber.
Finding Scyther¶
You’ll find stacks of logs randomly fallen on the floor around the Withered Wasteland, but you won’t be able to acquire these until you’ve learned the Cut Move and this can be obtained from Scyther. If you want to find Scyther then you’re going to need to create a Tree-Shaded Tall Grass Habitat and this can be done by placing four tall grass tiles around a tree with the Leafage Ability.
With the Habitat created you’ll need to wait around and interact with the moving grass and a Scyther will join you! It’ll immediately have a request for you to bring it two Sturdy Sticks which can almost be found anywhere and you’ll learn the Cut Ability.
Obtaining Lumber¶
Look for Pokemon with the Chop Specialty
and then bring the Logs over to them to acquire Lumber.
Scyther will have another request when you reach Environmental Level 3 and this time it’ll like you to bring a Small Log and you can obtain these by using the recently acquired Cut Ability on any tree. Head on over to Scyther and deliver the Small Log and then after some time it’ll convert them into five pieces of Lumber! You’re going to need a lot of Lumber for the Pokemon Center Rebuild, but now you can bring any Logs you have in your inventory to a Pokémon that has the Chop Specialty.
