Pokémon Pokopia has an abundance of materials to carry around and finding the room for them will become tricky the further you get into the game. Read on to find out how to expand your bag size.

Storage Boxes will be be your best friend throughout the game.

How to Increase Your Inventory Space?

Name Effect Price
Packing Tips: Rookie Increases Inventory Space by 10 100 Coins
Packing Tips: Intermediate Increases Inventory Space by 30 500 Coins
Packing Tips: Pro Increases Inventory Space by 30 1000 Coins
Packing Tips: Expert Increases Inventory Space by 30 1,2000 Coins

There will be a demand for storage space as you’ll find yourself needing to carry food to replenish your PP, Materials for your upcoming builds and Furniture to decorate them with. However, you can increase your inventory capacity by purchasing the Packing Tips upgrades from the PC and these will become available as you progress through the main story and increase each region’s Environment Level. If you’re struggling to find a specific item you need in your inventory then you can make it a little easier by using the in-game sorting system which is activated by holding down X the button.

Storage Boxes

You will probably still be needing more space and this means you’ll need to rely on some other methods to store items, such as building Storage Boxes as they can hold 20 different items in stacks of 99 and they only require one Lumber to build. You can acquire Lumber by giving Logs to a “Pokémon that has Chop ability such as Scyther who can be found early in the game. As you progress further into the game you can find Big Storage Box Recipe and these hold 60 items, but they require Pokémetal Ingots which is a very rare resource so you don’t want to waste them all on storage.

Storage Speciality

The last option for storing items is to give it to “Pokémon“ who have the “Storage” Speciality as they can hold 20 items. Gulpin is the only one found with this speciality so far and it can be found residing in a Tantalizing Dining Set Habitat.
