Jade Barroth

Description

Just as the regular species coats itself in mud, this subspecies
of Barroth found in colder climates coats itself in a protective
layer of snow and ice.

Both the regular species and subspecies mainly dine on Neopteron,
but where Barroth are partial to ants, the Jade Barroth prefers
Bnahabra. Differences in habitat create these split preferences.

Regular Barroth tail may be a delicacy, but this variety’s tail
meat is naturally kept frozen for long periods of time, allowing
the flavor to mature and grow more savory.
