The Unnamed City

The Blood Crystal Rocknose is a new type of enemy that was introduced with The Age of Sorcery. These differ from other Rocknoses so the way to distinguish them is through the red crystals on their body.

If you haven’t encountered one yourself though, this is because they are hidden and can only be revealed through using the Detect Resources spell.

Once the spell is performed, you will be able to see a red outline below the surface. Head closer to this red hue and the Rocknose will break free from the ground and begin attacking.

If you choose to fight the Rocknose, you will receive Blood Crystals for your troubles, and essential item not only to access this Chapter’s dungeon, but also vital in Golem Shaping.

The Black Ice Rocknose is a large rocky monster which can be found north and northeast of the Eyelet Lake, or southeast of the Ruins of Xullan. You’ll need some equipment which will protect you from the cold to venture into these regions, such as the fur set.

You can obtain black ice from these creatures after defeating them, using a stone pick (or any higher quality equivalent) to extract it from the corpse. The best way to kill them is to keep moving and stay behind to avoid their ground smash attacks.

The Sickly Demon-Spider is a unique creature introduced exclusively in the Isle of Siptah DLC for Conan Exiles. This creature is known for its aggressive behavior.

The Sickly Demon-Spider can be found on the Isle of Siptah. A number of them surround the Demesne of the Demon Spiders.

A Brimstone Rocknose is a special type of Rocknose with a yellow body.

• This creature has significantly higher chances to award the player Brimstone when a player uses a pickaxe on its corpse.

The special move of this creature emits a brimstony breath, which is similar to a fire breath in a straight line, lie what Red Dragon hatchlings do. You will need to dodge it to avoid taking damage.

You can commonly find the location of Brimstone Rocknose in the Shattered Springs.

A Coal Rocknose is a variation of the Rocknose creature. These creatures have a darker body, and glow with red skin, have smoke coming from their bodies, and their eyes light up red.

• Mining the corpse of the Coal Rocknose can yield Coal.

A Crystal Rocknose is a type of Rocknose with blue crystals erecting out of its pale bullish like stone color.

• Mining the corpse of this creature will yield rystals, rather than Iron like the basic Rocknose creature.

This type of Rocknose is most common in the Shattered Springs, alongside Brimstone Rocknose.

Crystal Rocknose also have a special move, which sends out waves of crystals all around its body in a short range.

A Gold-vein Rocknose is a type of Rocknose players can make, and find in specific parts of the maps as enemies, albeit very few of them exist. You will need to feed a Pebblenose (baby Rocknose hatched from a Rocknose Egg, which you get from the Den) a Shadespiced Gold Dust. This grants around a 20% chance to turn your Pebblenose into a Gold-vein Rocknose. Doing so will turn their dung into goldstone for you.

To obtain a Goldvein, you need to buy an egg from The Den’s vendor. Goldveins can produce gold and iron ore when given stone to eat in an animal pen.

An Ice Rocknose is a variation of a Rocknose creature. These creatures are found in colder climates, typically along areas wit high amount of stone and ice yields in the snow biome.

• Mining an Ice Rocknose will yield Ice from a Pickaxe.

This Rocknose species inhabits the Volcano area and can be recognized by the blue-colored ore, which resembles Obsidian, on its body. The underbody of the creature has a more tanned stone-like appearance. Obsidian Rocknose is a sizeable and aggressive creature that can detect players from a considerable distance. Harvesting an Obsidian Rocknose will yield Obsidian.

Rocknose creatures primarily employ a striking technique using their spiky nose to attack players. Additionally, they can hurl obsidian spikes in all directions, which can cause bleeding.

A Rocknose is a very common and generic enemy type, typically found amongst the stone deposits amongst the desert. You will find these guarding areas of large stone boulders you can mine for Stone, alongside any rocky mountain pass or cliff area in the desert region.

As of the Age of Sorcery update, their are now manly elemental themed Rocknose that scatter across the many biomes. There are now Coal themed Rocknose enemies found near coal deposits in the desert, but operate exactly like Rocknose regulars. There are also ice themed Rocknoses in the snow biome, Obsidian in the Volcano, and more. In the Golem update, you can get bloodstone Rocknose, which are random spawns among any Rocknose spawn in the game. These will drop a special item that will provide resources you need to create your Golem.

Players can also raise a Rocknose has a pet, and attempt to get a Silver Rocknose and Gold Rocknose by feeding them various metallic meals.

A Silver-vein Rocknose is a type of Rocknose players can create, and find at the Abandoned Silver Mine as an enemy. Players who get their hands on a Rocknose Egg, which you buy from The Den will hatch into a Pebblenose. While they mature, you can feed them Silverstone, which has a small chance to turn our Rocknose into a Silver-veined Rocknose, which will produce silver for you when they would otherwise make Dung.
