Meet Father Florin
It can be difficult to meet with Father Florin if you attempt to see him after gaining too much infamy. The easiest way to meet him is to visit The Cathedral Complex during the day and watch Father Florin baptise a child. Confess to your sins to begin the In the Name of the Father quest. Explore the secret room during the In the Name of the Father quest to find the ruins where Father Florin is working. Speak to him and he'll ask you for help, giving you a key to begin the next quest.

Complete the trial
Use the Ancient Key to take on the trial, forcing you to fight against several powerful enemies along the way. If you complete this quest by siding with Father Florin, you will unlock A Lone Wolf's Hunt, allowing you to take on Brencis using a secret passageway to Greifberg Castle. If you decide to help Father Florin, he will become a saint during the game's ending sequence.

Pick up the Ancient Hero's Armour
Completing the trial rewards you with the Ancient Hero's Armour, one of the best armour sets in the game. Alternatively, you can look to unlock the best armour set (the Arbiter armor set) using our A Bulwark Against Darkness walkthrough route.
