The Charter of Rights

Though we remain the unique sovereign of Vale Sangora, with respect for the rights of our subjects, we hereby establish the following laws:

1. No one shall be refused the right to be healed by the knyaz’s blood without a valid reason.
2. All adults are required to attend blood masses.
3. All merchants may sell their goods in Svartrau, provided they pay the required fee in the Magistrate.
4. Taxes will not be raised more often than twice per year.
5. The boyars shall not exploit their subjects for their personal benefit.
6. Blood Covenant is the one true faith. No other faith shall be practiced in Vale Sangora, publicly or in private.
7. Possessing any items made of silver is prohibited. Those who own such are obliged to surrender them. As compensation, one fifth of the silver’s value will be paid in denarii. To those who report a person holding silver, one third of the confiscated silver’s value will be paid as a reward.
8. Anyone claiming that these laws have been violated may plead their case in the Svartrau Courthouse, where it will be thoroughly and fairly judged.
