The 
Arowana is an ornamental fish belonging to the Bony Fish family. Popular as an ornamental fish, it was once threatened with extinction. It has been successfully farmed and is now a common large tropical fish. It inhabits slow-flowing waters or swamps, and can be as big as 15cm to 1m, depending on the species.
