It has taken years. Many long, arduous years of research. I must have scoured the entire Ziel database by now. I finally have what I think is the key to the mysterious enigma I uncovered all those years ago.
A total of five symbols must be aligned to open the doorway. These ancient symbols are spread throughout the Acasa Marshes. Even if their locations and method of activation are unknown, I was still able to piece together the proper sequence:

The order in which the symbols are activated appears to be irrelevant. All of this is, of course, purely theoretical.
Tomorrow, I will set off in search of concrete evidence. I will start with the doorway itself, located, if my research is correct, beneath the town of Jova. I have not received official approbation to pursue this, but I’m confident that OMSIF command will change their minds once I can demonstrate results.

Marton, Great news from the Jeljin digsite: another palpitating find! We have excavated a large box, a chest of sorts, with clear Lymbic signatures. It is locked, of course, so it’s contents are unknown to us.
Perhaps by serendipity, we have also unearthed one of the two keys required to open it. It is a long cylindrical rod, also with Lymbic signatures, that fits perfectly into one of the chest’s locking mechanisms.
I’ve sent the first key along with this letter. I am confident the second key will be found on-site. The chest, however, requires a great deal of careful handling; we should have it properly packed and ready to ship in the coming weeks.

13:05 - Arrival on location: 154 Darga Street, Losilus. Upon searching the premises, evidence of contraband was discovered: an object of interest was confiscated.
15:45 - Subject apprehended at his place of employment, on charges of possession of restricted materials. Subject has been confined and interrogated. Subject claims the object was a family heirloom.
The object in question bears a striking resemblance to another, confiscated last month (case 1512 - Agent Setin). Object resembles a shaft, or rod, 5cm in diameter, 45cm in length. Irregular patterning consistent with culturally-sensitive contraband.

Then earlier today, the clock broke and the hands stopped exactly in between all the numbers in our computer password. Same order from left to right, it’s crazy!
