Rotten Staff
Description
The Rotten Staff scales primarily with Strength and to a lesser extent Dexterity. It also has a special Scarlet Rot status effect inflicting passive.
It comes equipped with the unique Ash of War: Erdtree Slam:
Jump up high into the air and crash down on the ground ahead. The resulting pratfall sends golden shockwaves in all directions. This is the most powerful of all the Ground Slam skills.
Lore
Ceremonial staff depicting the Erdtree in its historic radiance. It festers with scarlet rot. Wielded by the avatars who protect the Minor Erdtrees.
Location
- Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree: Dropped by the Erdtree Avatar patrolling the ring walkway in the east. To reach this walkway, head out of the Prayer Room site of grace and jump onto the second buttress (concrete beam) connecting to a tower. Descend the tower and use the ledges on the bottom to reach the ring walkway.
