Found to the north of Venice Beach, will only spawn after completing The Giant-Slayer Main Quest.

Drops the Tasty Donut Safe Key.

On the beach to the southeast of where you fight Dillon in Venice Beach. He won’t spawn until after you finish The Giant-Slayer Main Quest.

Drops the Skate Things Safe Key

Spawns on the street to the north of Venice Beach after completing The Giant-Slayer Main Quest.

Drops the Strongman Cooler Key.

Found on the beach to the south of the Tasty Donut Store in Venice Beach. Will not spawn until after you complete The Giant-Slayer Main Quest.

Serling Hotel Guest can be found in the alleyway located behind the OSK Store in Ocean Avenue. Drops the Guest’s Keepsake Key.

A CDC employee zombie who contains the key for the Suspicious Container in Santa Monica

Found wondering the beach of Santa Monica, look south from the Lifeguard building and to the east of the pier. Spawns after you have completed the main mission on this map.

A runner zombie who holds the keys to the Luigi Pizzeria Lockbox.

Found directly under the Santa Monica Pier on the most northern tunnel section, near where the death pit is with the zombies in the out of bounds area of the map.

The zombie named Doc Martin can be found outside the Gang Green store on Venice Beach. He drops the Gang Green Gate Key which can be used to enter the store from the back.

You can find the Serling Concierge roaming around the second floor of the Lotusville Mall. Drops the Serling Reception Safe Key.

Can be found standing in the large hole northwest of the Serling Hotel. Drops the Electricians Key.

Can be found in the Underground Garage on the Ocean Avenue Map. Drops the Randgate Security Key.

A type of Burning Crusher NPC, which spawns at The Pier level in Santa Monica.

Spawns in the fire pit outside the Lifeguard HQ at the Santa Monica Pier after defeating Butcho the Clown. Drops the Lifeguard Kit Box Key.

A.R Oliver is the food critic in the Message in a Bottle sidequest. He’ll appear outside the Hotdog Shack in the far northeast of Santa Monica at the end of the quest.

The bronze champion at the Muscle Beach strongman contest on Venice Beach. You encounter this zombie during the Organ Donor side quest.

The silver champion at the Muscle Beach strongman contest on Venice Beach. You encounter this zombie during the Organ Donor side quest.

A military zombie that spawns during the Redacted questline.

In the southwest side of the tower in Venice Beach. Only spawns after you have collected the two paper trail items from the Redcated questline.

A military zombie that only spawns at the end of the game, and most certainly spawns while you’re doing the Diaries of the Dead mission. Killing this creature drops the Redacted journal, which starts a Lost and Found mission.

Inside one of the military bunkers at the military camp on Venice beach. You will need to open the bunker door to find him, as his spawn is not obvious and easily missed.

A mutator type zombie that spawns at the end of the Diaries of the Dead side mission in Venice Beach.

Only spawns as part of the Diaries of the Dead side mission in Venice Beach. Once you get to the final stages of that quest, this mutator enemy will spawn at the very eastern side of the military base in the locked part of the base behind the barracks section.

A named zombie that is classed as a Mutator apex zombie. This creature only spawns after The Search For Truth main story mission. Killing the creature drops the Foreman’s Keys.

You can find The Site Foreman at the construction site you rescued Jessie Kwon at in Beverly Hills, which is at the bottom right side of the map.

Misha the Singer is a named zombie who’ll appear when you blast out some tunes as part of the Rikky sidequest “The Ballad of Rikky Rex”. They are a Screamer type monster.

Appears outside (near the stage) after you’ve found the safe on the second floor. It can sometimes appear outside of the mansion, but for the most part, it’ll appear where mentioned above. If it’s still now in that location, try turning in The Ballad of Rikky Rex sidquest, and come back.

A Screamer type zombie, which is a quest NPC that spawns as part of the Creature Comfort questline from Curtis Sinclair.

Spawns at the front entrance of the Swansong mansion. It only spawns once you discovered the locked safe in the master bedroom.

A named Butcher zombie that spawns after you complete Creature Comforts and Boardwalking Dead. This creature holds the key to the Eddie’s Toolbox in Emma Jaunt’s carpark.

Spawns at the rear of Colt Swansong’s yard, directly opposite the swimming pool and rear entrance.
