Cochineal

Description

Cochineal are diminutive bugs which thrive and consume nutrients from cacti. Its use is mainly for cosmetics as they can be processed into a vivid red pigment suitable for dyeing fabrics.

To gather Cochineal, strike cactus plants using a hatchet or sickle. However, if you need a bunch more, an abundant supply of Cochineal can be acquired by harvesting red-leaved plants found within the Volcano using a pick rather than the hatchet/sickle mentioned previously.
