The Greater Wolf possesses three primary melee attacks:

Light Attack 1: A swift bite that inflicts the Sunder debuff, weakening the target’s defenses. The animation mirrors to both sides, allowing for versatile positioning.
Light Attack 2: A sharp bite that applies the Bleed effect, causing ongoing damage over time.
Heavy Attack 1: The wolf rears back, launching itself into a powerful bite that delivers significantly more damage than light attacks.

Monstrous Bears have a 2% chance to spawn instead of normal Bears. They are much sturdier than the regular adult bears you see walking around the Hinterlands and snowy regions of the map. These creatures have strong charges, swipes and maul attacks to watch for. They also have some of the strongest HP of any wild animal in the game.

Players can create their own Greater Bear by feeding a Bear Cub in their animal pen. Feeding them Honey offers them the best chance to turn the Cub into a Greater Bear, around the 20% mark.

A rare and elite type of Sabretooth distinguished by its dark fur and glowing blue eyes. There is only a 2% chance of encountering a Monstrous Sabretooth instead of a regular Sabretooth. These creatures are extremely hazardous even at advanced levels, so it is recommended to exercise extreme caution when engaging in combat with them.
