Optional Bosses can be found on the world map and inside the many fields and dungeons that you can find scattered across 
The Continent. If you enter into an encounter with an enemy and see a name bar at the top of the screen, you know you’re in for a tougher fight than ususal.

Should You Attack?
Yes! 
Golgra has some useful drops when you can finally beat her, she’ll drop a Level 28 version of the weapons you can win from the Gestral Village tournament. While getting free upgrades on weapons is always useful, this is especially crucial if you beat the tournament with anyone other than 
Maelle. The 
Medalum is up there as one of best weapons in the game and beating Golgra as Maelle is the only way to get it.

1. The Continent
Speak to Golgra and provoke to a duel. There are no repercussions if you lose.
You will receive a different special weapon as a reward depending on who you choose to duel with.
2. The Continent
Defeat all three bosses at the Arena and Golgra will appear for a duel.

is it really possible to beat her as a Boss? She has too much Hp... if you succeed with her could you tell how did you do it?

You can beat her, but it's more intended to do at the later stages of the game as you won't deal enough damage even if you're perfect at parrying/dodging. Check out the linked guide in the description for a good way to prepare for her (bearing in mind it assumes you're at the endgame).
