Reithwin Tollhouse

Description

Reithwin Tollhouse is located in the southeastern part of Reithwin Town, directly south of the Mason’s Guild. This area is the first you encounter upon arriving in Reithwin Town and can be accessed from the southwestern corner of the Ruined Battlefield. Upon crossing the bridge and passing through the arch, you’ll reach the northern entrance of the tollhouse.

How to Find / Access

Enter Reithwin Town from the southwestern corner of the Ruined Battlefield. Cross the bridge and pass through the arch to find the northern entrance of the tollhouse.

• Gerringothe Thorm is found on the first floor, searching for gold.
• Scattered gold is found on the floor.
• There is a safe (Lockpicking DC 30) containing nothing; the combination is written on a nearby wall.
• Another safe (Strength DC 16) contains 514 gold.
• Tollhouse Clerk’s Key can be found in a desk, opening the Double Oak Doors near Gerringothe Thorm.
• Opulent Chest (Lockpicking DC 10) containing Gloves of Battlemage’s Power.
• Tollhouse Master’s Office contains a Heavy Chest with Ironvine Shield.
• Rotten floorboards lead to lower floor with two chests.
• Perception Check (DC 15) reveals a button to open wall to outside building.

The Roof:

Climb onto the roof using ladder near Gerringothe Thorm to find a skeleton with Club +1 and Tollhouse Basement Key.

The Basement:

• Accessible from outside on the south side of the building.
• Perception (DC 10) reveals button to open bookcases, revealing secret room.
• Gerringothe’s Logbook, Soul Coin, and Gilded Chest in this room.
• Roots lead down another floor with nothing of interest.
