It is as powerful as Blackbrew could have ever desired but proved impossible to control. The Trancendum has done everything it can to contain The Monster, and they’ve been successful in doing so… for now.

Adam the Firstborn is a Level 88 V Blood Carrier located in Doctor Blackbrew’s Castle in Gloomrot North. Once the culmination of Doctor Henry Blackbrew’s brilliance, Adam was designed to be the ultimate war machine but proved impossible to control. Players must navigate a gated entrance to reach him, either by using an EMP or flying over the gate in Bat Form. Upon defeating Adam, players unlock the Pedestal of the Monster and various Dracula gear recipes. The battle against Adam is challenging due to his aggressive melee attacks, lightning towers, and phase transitions that introduce new abilities and hazards. Notably, Adam drops a Soul Shard that grants powerful buffs when placed in a player’s territory.

A dedicated servant of the Trancendum, Angram was an exterminator that possessed a natural cruelty and resilence unmatched by any of his peers. Like any good soldier, he gave his life for his cause… or tried to, anyway. Doctor Henry Blackbrew could not let such an asset go to waste and brought him back to life with a brutal surgery few other beings could survive. Angram lives now, at the mere cost of every last scrap of his humanity.

Angram the Purifier is a boss known for his unmatched cruelty and resilience. Once a dedicated exterminator for the Trancendum, Angram’s life was characterized by his unwavering commitment to his cause. Though he gave his life in service, Dr. Henry Blackbrew’s brutal surgery brought him back to life, albeit at the cost of his humanity. Angram patrols the Pools of Rebirth in Gloomrot South, challenging all who dare to cross his path. Defeating him grants spells and valuable recipes.

Doctor Henry Blackbrew was once humankind’s last hope against the forces of Dracula, before the Church of Luminance came along. With their newly found faith and weapons of light, mankind turned on the Doctor for his sick methodology and pursuit of human evolution, declaring him a heretic. Banished alongside his students, he went on to found The Trancendum and began constructing a society in his image. With the help of a resource he refers to as “Blood Type E” he’s managed to maintain his youth, and keep his twisted pursuit of “progress” alive for well over 800 years.

Henry Blackbrew the Doctor, a Level 74 V Blood Carrier, is located in the Trancendum Laboratories in Gloomrot North. Once humankind’s last hope against Dracula, he was later exiled for his twisted methods. Defeating him grants a Tier 3 Spell Point and the spells Raging Tempest and Lightning Typhoon. Players can also unlock the Athenaeum and Luminescent Mushroom Terrarium structures and obtain the Schematic recipe. Possible loot drops include Onyx Tear, Bloodmoon Leggings recipe, Legendary Ancestral Greatsword Shard, Tier 3 Jewel, Flawless Gems, and Exquisite Heart. His attacks include lasers, homing orbs, wall lasers, wall orbs, and knockback pulses, all inflicting Electric Amplify, increasing damage taken by 5% per stack.

A legendary vampire from the age of Dracula. He was one of only a handful of loyalists bold enough to be well beyond enemy lines when the barrier of darkness was erected over Farbane. Thinking himself abandoned by his allies to the forces of humanity, he has not since forgotten this betrayal.

Lord Styx the Night Champion, a Level 83 V Blood Carrier, can be found encircling a giant Blood Crystal at Dracula’s Demise, just south of Gloomrot. Once a loyalist from Dracula’s age, Styx has not forgotten the betrayal he felt when abandoned by his allies. Defeating him unlocks the Bat Form vampire power, and recipes for Onyx Tear and Blood Key.

His attacks include Double Kill, Death Spin, Lunge, Bat Swarm, Gargoyles, Ultimate Power, Jump, and Teleport. To defeat Styx, players should use Ward of the Damned, Veil of Blood, Blood Fountain, and Raging Tempest spells, and prioritize healing. Recommended equipment includes dark silver tier weapons, a full bloodmoon set, and a blood merlot amulet.

• On April 3rd, 2024, it was announced that Styx would receive a character rework. The V Rising X Account made a post about Styx, which included an image captioned “Lord Styx The Night Champion” and the text: “A legendary vampire from the age of Dracula. Known for his fierce loyalty and the havoc he wreaked on the battlefield against paladins and rival vampires alike, he has earned his place as a Night Champion of the Legion of Noctum. His presence over the operation at the heart of Dracula’s Demise must be of vital importance to Dracula’s plans.”
• Prior to the 1.0 Update, Styx was named “Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer.”

• Double Kill: Performs two fast slashes followed by a lunge.
• Death Spin: Spins in a circle, firing red blades in a 360° angle, dealing area damage and single target damage with the blades.

• Bat Swarm: Summons three bat-energy balls, two from the sides and one from the front.
• Gargoyles: At 50% HP, jumps into the air and summons two gargoyles to aid him.

A stern professional and born leader, Voltatia operates with psychotic efficiency, and has little emotional desire beyond keeping The Doctor’s operation running smoothly.

Voltatia the Power Master is a Level 77 V Blood Carrier located in the Trancendum Power Plant in Gloomrot North. As the trusted right hand of Doctor Henry Blackbrew, Voltatia is responsible for the maintenance and protection of the entire electric pipeline of Gloomrot. Known for her stern professionalism and psychotic efficiency, she is crucial in keeping The Doctor’s operation running smoothly. Defeating Voltatia grants players a Tier 2 Spell Point, along with spells such as Polarity Shift, Veil of Storm, and Lightning Curtain. Additionally, players unlock recipes for items like the Power Core and EMP.

During the fight, Voltatia employs a variety of electrically charged attacks. In Phase 1, she uses the Electro Ray, a tracking beam attack best sidestepped, and the Electro Shotgun, which can be countered or blocked. She also teleports and generates an Electric Dome for repositioning. In Phase 2, she summons minions and sets up a Lightning Curtain to block projectiles. Phase 3 introduces her clone, doubling the challenge, and in Phase 4, she activates a device that throws ricocheting electric discs. Players must use a combination of movement, defensive abilities, and strategic attacks to overcome her, with emphasis on side-stepping, parrying, and maintaining offensive pressure to swiftly end the fight.

Phase 1 (100%-81%):

• Electro Ray: Voltatia charges her cannon for 1.5s, then fires a tracking beam for 2.5-3s.
• Strategy: Side-step the beam. Parry spells such as Blood Rite or shield spells like Ward of the Damned won’t fully mitigate the damage. Use absorption spells like Ice Block if needed.
• Electro Shotgun: Voltatia fires a cone of bullets at close range.
• Strategy: Side-step, parry with Blood Rite, block with Ward of the Damned, or absorb with Ice Block.
• Teleport: Voltatia teleports to a new location.
• Strategy: Use Polarity Shift to stay close if desired.
• Electric Dome: Voltatia generates a dome of electricity, turning invisible and repositioning.
• Strategy: Use the brief immobile moment to deal extra damage with spells like Void or Corrupted Skull.

Phase 2 (80%-61%):

• Minion Summon: Voltatia summons 2 Railgunners.
• Strategy: Keep moving and use offensive spells to take them out.
• Lightning Curtain: Voltatia places an electric fence and stands behind it to use her Electro Ray.
• Strategy: Use target area spells like Void or walk around/dash through the fence to deal damage.

Phase 3 (60%-41%):

• Clone: Voltatia creates a clone, resulting in two Voltatias attacking simultaneously.
• Strategy: Use side-stepping, spells, and melee attacks. Utilize abilities like Camouflage from Sanguine Slashers for repositioning. Use Veil of Chaos for double dodging and Potion of Rage and Witch Potion for increased damage and shield.

Phase 4 (40%-0%):

• Electro Disc: Voltatia throws ricocheting electric discs.
• Strategy: Use a combination of side-stepping, parry, and dodge. Move into the wave of discs to get close to Voltatia and attack.

The beloved head engineer of weapons at the Machine Factory, Ziva is the embodiment of perfectly delightful destruction. Truly in love with her deadly experiments, she is always at the forefront at pushing for greater means of bringing a suitably painful and spectacular death to whoever ends up on the wrong end of her unstable technology. Which end often changes from trigger pull to trigger pull.

Ziva the Engineer is a Level 60 V Blood Carrier residing in the Trancendum Machine Factory in Gloomrot South. As the head engineer of weapons, Ziva is renowned for her love of creating destructive and deadly experiments. Her innovative yet unstable technology has made her a key figure in pushing the boundaries of lethal engineering, delighting in the chaos and pain her inventions bring.

Upon defeating Ziva, players are rewarded with a Tier 1 Spell Point and can unlock spells such as Cyclone, Ball Lightning, and Discharge. Additionally, she provides blueprints for constructing the Fabricator and recipes for crafting Sludge-filled Canisters and Radium Alloy.

Ziva’s design and weaponry are likely nods to Iva from Battlerite, another title by Stunlock Studios.
