The patriarch of a family that once held land when these swamps were adequately inhabited. Over time, the cursed land twisted them, leaving this horrible, twisted toad that only remembers its lust for gold and jewels. It jealously guards its hoard of forgotten, worthless currency.

Albert the Duke of Balaton is a level 64 V Blood Carrier located in the Swamp of Greed, at the northern edge of the Cursed Forest. Once a patriarch of a prosperous family, he has been twisted into a monstrous toad by the cursed land, driven by an insatiable lust for gold and jewels. Defeating him unlocks the Toad Form ability and rewards players with recipes for a Chess Table and various coins.

Act III

This old survivalist seeked to explore the Cursed Forest, despite knowing it’s danger. As the curse began to cloud his mind, he found ways to fight against it. With his cloak and a helpful little wisp he’d captured in a lantern, his strange magical defense prevented the curse from taking full controll. Though it was too late to prevent his mind from falling to tatters, he still does what he does best… survive.

Ben the Old Wanderer, a Level 63 character, roams the roads of the Cursed Forest. As a survivalist, Ben sought to explore the forest and resisted the curse’s effects using a magical cloak and a captured wisp in a lantern. Despite his mental decline, he continues to survive. Defeating him grants several rewards, including a Tier 1 Spell Point, Frost Bat, Ice Nova, and Cold Snap spells. Players can also obtain recipes for Pristine Leather and Shroud of the Forest. Ben does not engage in combat but instead runs away, using defensive moves such as a knockback staff swing and releasing wisps that entangle and immobilize players.

Cursed with eternal life and servitude to the Cult of the Damned, Cyril has little desire to perform his duties. However, having been traded to the Cult before he had even been born, this tortured life is all he knows. Resigned to his fate, he does still take some small joy in inflicting his pain on others.

Cyril the Cursed Smith, a Level 65 V Blood Carrier, resides in the Cursed Village within the Cursed Forest. Bound by eternal servitude to the Cult of the Damned, Cyril uses his cursed life to inflict pain on others. Defeating him unlocks a Tier 3 Spell Point, Spectral Guardian, and Wisp Dance spells. Players also gain access to structures like the Anvil and Advanced Furnace, and the recipe for Dark Silver Ingot.

Originally an engineer responsible for advancements in practical electrical weapons, Domina’s incredible advancements were born of her hands-on, reckless approach to testing. Though this approach led to her demise, she was brought back to life by the maddening machinery of the infamous Doctor Henry Blackbrew. Domina’s sadism and masochism are unlimited, unmatched, and perhaps unstoppable in her pursuit of protecting and “policing” the people of Gloomrot.

Domina the Blade Dancer, a Level 60 V Blood Carrier, resides in Rustlock Village in Gloomrot South. Originally an engineer, Domina’s reckless approach to testing electrical weapons led to her demise. She was resurrected by Doctor Henry Blackbrew, and now her sadism and masochism drive her to protect and “police” Gloomrot.

Foulrot the Soultaker, a Level 62 V Blood Carrier, is located in the southeastern Ancient Village in the Cursed Forest. Defeating him rewards players with a Tier 2 Spell Point and the spells Death Knight, Veil of Bones, and Soulburn. Additionally, players unlock recipes for Spectral Dust and Banshee. Foulrot, a mad cultist, claims to be the vessel of his decapitated horse and believes his blades send victims to hell.

Once a fiercely loyal warrior in Dracula’s army. It’s said he went mad after the vampire lord’s defeat, amputating his sword arm in shame for his failure to protect his master. In a haze from blood loss, he wandered into the wilderness to die. The corruption of the Cursed Forest gave him not death but something much worse.

Gorecrusher the Behemoth, a Level 83 V Blood Carrier, roams the Cursed Forest. Once a loyal warrior in Dracula’s army, Gorecrusher went mad after Dracula’s defeat and was transformed by the forest’s corruption. Defeating him grants a Tier 2 Spell Point and the spells Mosquito, Veil of Illusion, and Mist Trance. Players also unlock recipes for Bat Leather and Bat Leather Bag. Gorecrusher’s loot includes Onyx Tear, Legendary Ancestral Greatsword Shard, Flawless Ruby, and Exquisite Heart. His attacks include Swipes, Slam Combo, Charge, Ground Slam, Leap, Charge Combo, Illusionary Summons, Wisp Dance, and summoning a Gorecrusher Soul at low health.

• Swipes: Performs two wide swings followed by a thrust with his club arm.
• Slam Combo: Roars and glows with Illusion magic before slamming down his club three times, stunning the player if it connects.
• Charge: Prepares to charge a short distance, flipping and stunning the player if hit.
• Ground Slam: Raises both arms as a damage circle appears. When the circle fills up, slams the ground, knocking back and damaging the player, and sending out five lines of shockwaves in random directions.
• Leap: Leaps at the player if they get too far away, signaled by a damage circle filling up.
• Charge Combo: At about 80% health, performs three long-range, non-stunning charges one after the other, attempting to intercept the player’s movement.
• Illusionary Summons: At about 70% health, jumps away from the player, summoning an illusionary wolf and bear, applying a warping effect to the screen and becoming immune for 15 seconds.
• Wisp Dance: At about 50% health, roars, slowing the player and summoning a large number of wisps from his center, which deal damage and apply weaken if they contact the player.
• Soul Summon: At about 30% health, stops to roar and knock back the player, summoning a Gorecrusher Soul that acts as a clone and performs all attacks except Leap, Wisp Dance, and Illusionary Summons. The soul can regenerate if killed, resuming attacks at half health until Gorecrusher is defeated.

Some say Marka is the oldest of the witches, but the truth is nobody knows how or when these timeless creatures were born. A force of nature and a mockery of humanity, she is utterly beyond reason.

Matka the Curse Weaver, a Level 74 V Blood Carrier, resides in the Nest of the Curse Weaver in the west of the Cursed Forest. Known as one of the oldest witches, Matka is a force of nature beyond reason. Defeating her grants a Tier 2 Spell Point and the spells Mosquito, Veil of Illusion, and Mist Trance. Players also unlock the Advanced Loom structure and recipes for Ghost Yarn and Mosquito.

Matka’s attacks include summoning mosquitoes, casting Swamp Bombs that inflict a fading snare, Crawling Snake spells that cause explosions, the Pig Curse that transforms players into pigs, and Unstable Mosquitoes that hunt and explode.

• Summon Mosquito: Matka summons two mosquitoes (with no limit to how many can be summoned).
• Swamp Bomb: Summons three area of attack bombs that inflict fading snare.
• Crawling Snake: Summons a spell that crawls along the ground and creates three explosions.
• Pig Curse: Says “veins of the world sing,” turning the player into a pig for a few seconds and summoning four snake spells.
• Unstable Mosquito: Says “bones of the tree be mine,” summoning five mosquitoes that hunt down the player and explode.

Act IV

A massive spider of legendary age and progeny. The Spider Queen resides in the twisted, web-woven depths of Cursed Forest’s winding caverns. No living creature save for her children has ever entered and lived to tell the tale.

Ungora the Spider Queen is a Level 63 V Blood Carrier residing within the Spider Cave in the Cursed Forest. This massive spider of legendary age and progeny rules over the twisted, web-woven depths of the cave. Known for her ferocity, Ungora’s lair is a dangerous place where no living creature, save for her children, has ever entered and survived. Defeating Ungora grants players the Spider Form vampire power, a Tier 3 Spell Point, and spells including Army of the Dead and Volatile Arachnid. Additionally, players unlock recipes for Silk and Spiderlings.

During the fight, Ungora employs a variety of deadly attacks that require careful maneuvering and strategic responses. Her abilities can summon spiderlings and inflict significant damage. Players must be prepared to deal with her powerful melee and ranged attacks, as well as the constant threat of additional spider minions.

Strategy:

• General Tips: Stay mobile to avoid her area attacks and web spits. Use crowd control abilities to manage the Spiderlings she summons.
• Web Spit: Keep moving to avoid being immobilized. If caught, use a Travel Ability to escape.
• Poison Bite: Maintain distance to avoid her melee attack.
• Egg Hatch: Destroy the eggs before they hatch to minimize the number of Spiderlings.
• Venom Spray: Move out of the cone of attack to avoid taking damage and being slowed.
• Summon Brood: Focus on eliminating the Spiderlings quickly to prevent being overwhelmed.
• Enrage: Use defensive abilities and focus on dodging her attacks until the enrage effect wears off.

Equipment and Abilities:

• Recommended gear: High armor with poison resistance, weapons with AoE (Area of Effect) abilities.
• Ideal abilities: Crowd control spells like Frost Nova or Veil of Frost, ranged damage spells like Chaos Volley or Sanguine Coil.
