by its giant fangs and whiskers. Twice as large as a Blango, it has
far greater strength and mobility.

Often leading groups of Blango in organized hunts, this monster
displays great leadership and intelligence by taking advantage
of snowy terrain to encircle prey and ensure a successful kill.

Its massive tusks are too big for its mouth yet naturally sharp
enough to be used as weapons. These tusks also identify the alpha
of the pack, so losing them means losing one’s position.

Found in warm, humid environments, this Fanged Beast is known
to gather fish and honey while standing on its hind legs. The
sturdy, clawed forearms pose a real threat when used offensively.

Portions of the fur are soft and yellow, while other parts are
short, green, and bristly. Higher quality furs are identified
by particularly soft yellow areas and extra-firm green sections.

This omnivore primarily consumes fish, mushrooms, and honey. With
olfactory senses finely tuned to detect its favorite food of honey,
it goes to great lengths to pilfer any hidden supplies.

prehensile tail allows it to spin like a top. It can be described as both
endearingly inquisitive and insufferably mischievous.

An omnivorous monster that largely eats plant-based foods. Fond
of fruit, it often stores Jumbofruit in its belly pouch. Bitter and
poisonous fruits are also used to hunt prey or befuddle predators.

The tail acts as a third arm or leg and has skid-resistant skin
on the underside as well as pads at the tip to absorb blows. This

Relatively gentle for a Fanged Beast, it plays an integral role
in Sheparden life as a hunting partner and means of transportation.

With proper training, these creatures can learn to hunt with tools.
Sheparden’s residents even created specialized weapons that their
Canyne companions can wield with their mouths.

Before becoming endangered, this species would bravely defend
Sheparden’s people from monsters. In return, the villagers revere
these monsters as “wards” for their courageous loyalty.
