A Temnoceran that weaves nests to defend its territory and hunt.
It ensnares prey, weakening them with abnormal statuses, then feasts
using its razor-sharp mandibles.

Its preferred prey are Gypceros, whose hides it peels off and wears
after feeding. The purple hides protect it from its weakness
to lightning and conceal its true white coloring.

Spikes along its back act as poison sacs, and the internal coma sac
produces a powder that sedates foes. With masterful use of these
tools, it incapacitates prey and binds them in silk.

A subspecies of Nerscylla that mostly inhabits desert areas and
wraps itself in Khezu hides. Rather than spinning webs, it instead
lurks beneath the sands to pounce on unsuspecting prey.

The juveniles fly by releasing silk into the air to catch the wind
in a process called “ballooning.” They travel far from the desert,
and those who obtain Khezu hides return during spawning season.

Although it shares the same habit of donning the hides of its prey
as the regular species, this subspecies displays a preference for
Khezu hides. The skins worn evidently vary from region to region.

Distinctly swathed in its own webbing and attended by several
Rachnoid offspring, this Temnoceran almost appears to be part
of a royal procession as it strolls about in a gown of pure white.

If the number of attached Rachnoids decreases, the Rakna-Kadaki
will produce eggs that grow rapidly within the egg sac and then
hatch. The monster becomes more aggressive as this cycle repeats.

Larger Rakna-Kadaki are all female, while males are similar in size
and appearance to Rachnoids. Males live amongst the Rachnoids
attached to the female’s abdomen and take turns mating with them.

These juvenile Rakna-Kadaki cling to their mother’s abdomen and
primarily feed off scraps of regurgitated prey. Covered in silk,
they can almost be mistaken for large cotton balls.

It can spin silk as strong as its parent’s right after birth.
When ordered to, it will ensnare prey with silk before using
those threads to draw the catch to its large, lumbering mother.

The glowgut found within Rakna-Kadaki abdomens is a light-emitting
organ that generates the heat necessary for incubating and hatching
Rachnoids. Maintaining this heat requires a great deal of food.
