Yian Garuga are said to have evolved from a Yian Kut-Ku that became

is far more ferocious than the Yian Kut-Ku.

larger build, bristled fur, and scythe-like tail. It rarely acts
alone, instead patrolling its territory with two elite Izuchi.

The Great Izuchi takes the best hunters of Izuchi packs on hunts
to teach them. Experienced males are tasked with guarding nests,
and the most capable among them becomes the next pack leader.

The distinctive, sickle-like tailblade can be used to pierce and
cut down prey, swing through tree branches, and perhaps even give
orders to Izuchi through certain gestures or movements.

A venomous, forest-dwelling Bird Wyvern that uses its extendable
tongue like a whip to lash out and grab food. It tends to harass
weaker monsters but cowers before stronger ones.

The Pukei-Pukei is known to keep eaten food in its jaw and tail
pouches. Attacks are performed by combining stored food with poison
from the poison sac and expelling the mixture from its mouth.

The uniquely structured feathers are coated with a fine crystal
particulate. As such, adjusting the angle at which the feathers
reflect light can make its body appear to change colors.

A Flying Wyvern whose forelimbs have developed to carry objects.
Often seen stealing eggs from monster nests, it is also known
to dig up rocks to use as a weapon or shield against threats.

This monster uses its forelegs to steal eggs from other nests,
and eats an average of three to four eggs a day. Any kind of egg
will suffice, but it mostly feeds on the nutritious yolks.

Females lay two eggs after mating, and the two parents then care
for one egg each. Because the parents must fast during this time,
one may eat its own egg in rare cases of desperate hunger.

and yellow bill. These monsters often form groups centered around
a Velocidrome. Their swift, slender bodies boast razor-sharp claws.

After detecting other creatures with their keen senses, these agile

of range for retaliation and then attacking with sharp claws.

Although it is rarely seen in colder months, this highly adaptable
monster has been observed living in all manner of habitats,
residing in caves during the day and going out at night to hunt.

vestigial organs that are incapable of flight. These monsters are
prized as livestock for their wide variety of uses.

A timid monster that may spontaneously lay an egg when surprised
from behind. Such eggs can occasionally be made of gold, but this
phenomenon is not yet fully understood.

The saying “two Gargwa with one stone” refers to gaining two
benefits from a single action or difficult task, as in throwing
a stone at a single Gargwa but somehow felling two of them.

The distinctive sickle-shaped tail is used not only as a weapon,
but to climb trees and gather fruit as well.

Pairs of elite Izuchi follow a Great Izuchi to learn how to work
together. Some form of hierarchy seems to exist beyond these two
elites because when one is chased away another will take its place.

Its hide is used in a variety of ways, from fashion to armor.
Skins from so-called elites are particularly smooth, while
the highest quality hides give off a pale orange sheen.

This agile and elusive monster combs through areas for bugs and
small prey. It may have developed this inefficient feeding behavior
as a means to avoid competition with others of its species.

It focuses so much on hunting small game that it ignores its
surroundings. Even so, it is extremely hard to catch. Start your
observation from the egg quartz overlooking the castle.

As the note said, the Exotic Velocidrome has novel hunting methods.
Its survival strategies lead to interesting behavioral differences.
