- Roughly the south-east section of the Lake of Rot sitting dormant in the waters. Make sure to raise all the platforms in the area before fighting it to avoid Scarlet Rot accumulation.

- As melee, you have the opportunity for lots of free hits as the Dragonkin Soldier rises at the start of the battle.
- Ensure that you have multiple methods to recover from Scarlet Rot.
- This battle is much easier as a magic user, you can keep your distance and avoid its slow attacks.
