Ash of War: Barrage is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material that provides Standard affinity and the Barrage Skill.

• Ash of War: Barrage can be found in Mt. Gelmir where it is dropped by a Teardrop Scarab found in the narrow channel north of Seethewater River.

• Skill: Barrage.
• Provides the Standard affinity, which respects the weapon’s original scaling and damage.

Ash of War: Barricade Shield is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material that provides the Standard affinity and the Barricade Shield Skill. Grants no affinity to an armament, but imparts the Barricade Shield: Skill which boosts the defense of your shield for a time. Usable on all shields.

• Dropped by Night’s Cavalry in Weeping Peninsula.

• Grants Barricade Shield on all Shields.
• Provides the Standard affinity, which respects the weapon’s original scaling and damage.

Ash of War: Enchanted Shot provides Standard affinity and the Enchanted Shot Skill.

• Dropped by a Teardrop Beetle hiding behind a rock near a brazier in Nokron, Eternal City.

• Skill: Enchanted Shot.
• Can be used with the following affinity Upgrades: Standard

Ash of War: Enchanted Shot is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material that provides Standard affinity and the Enchanted Shot Skill.

• Dropped by Teardrop Scarab, located on the road just north of road near Castle Morne Rampart.

• Sill: Enchanted Shot.
• Can be used with the following affinity Upgrades: Standard

Ash of War: No Skill is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material that provides Standard affinity but no Skill.

• Sold by Knight Bernahl at the Warmaster’s Shack for 600 Runes.
• Purchasable from Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold after giving them Bernahl’s Bell Bearing.

• Removes the skill from the shield/torch that uses it.
• Allows the player to use the main hand weapon skill while letting the player the ability to guard with the shield or maintain torch illumination.

Ash of War: Parry is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material that provides Standard affinity and the Parry Skill.

• Sold by Knight Bernahl at the Warmaster’s Shack for 600 Runes.
• Purchasable from Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold after giving them Bernahl’s Bell Bearing.

• Parry Skill.
• Provides the Standard affinity, which respects the weapon’s original scaling and damage.

Ash of War: Rain of Arrows provides Standard affinity and the Rain of Arrows Skill. Ashes of War can be equipped on Weapons and Shields to modify the Skill or an equipment, or to apply affinities that modify scaling values.

• Caelid: Appears at edge of a cliff after you’ve looted the “Redmane” Painting in Sellia, Town of Sorcery. You’ll find it down the cliff on a plateau south east of the Eastern Minor Erdtree in Caelid. The Erdtree is located in the Caelid subregion called Dragonbarrow. Once you’ve made your way down, walk to the edge and you’ll briefly see the spirit of a painter, he’ll vanish and the Ash of War will appear in his place.

• Grants the skill Rain of Arrows.
• Provides the Standard affinity, which respects the weapon’s original scaling and damage.
• Can be used on all Bow types.
• Can be cast even if you don’t have 20 FP

Ash of War: Shield Bash is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material that provides Standard affinity and the Shield Bash Skill.

• This Ash of War can be found by defeating a teleporting Teardrop Scarab hanging below the East Gate Bridge site of grace, northeast of Raya Lucaria Academy.

• This Ash of War can be eqipped on all shields.
• Skill: Shield Bash.
• Can be used with any affinity Upgrade.

Ash of War: Shield Crash grants the Standard affinity to a shield (no special affinity) when the Ash of War is attached and allows the use of the Skill: Shield Crash when the shield is equipped.

• Dropped off a Teardrop Scarab that can be found behind the church in Lux Ruins in the Altus Plateau.

• Can only be used on shields.
• Skill FP Cost: 12
• Skill deals much more damage than Skill: Shield Bash but it does leave you unguarded for a brief moment.
• Skill can be charged.

Ash of War: Storm Wall is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material that provides Standard affinity and the Storm Wall Skill.

• Ash of War: Storm Wall can be found by falling down from the collapsed bridge at the north of Stormhill next to Stormveil Castle, there’s a Teardrop Scarab that will try to escape when attacked. The creature moves fairly fast so it’s recommended to be prepared with ranged weapons before you attack/startle it.

• Skill: Storm Wall.
• Provides the Standard affinity, which respects the weapon’s original scaling and damage.

The Ash of War: Skyshot grants the Standard affinity (which grants no additional affinity to a weapon) when attached to a weapon and allows for the use of the Skill: Skyshot when the weapon is equipped.

• A drop from the Teardrop Scarab found on the cliffs behind the Isolated Merchant’s Shack (Dragonbarrow) in Caelid.

• Can only be used on bows.
• The skill costs 2FP to use.

Ash of War: Through and Through grants the Standard affinity to a weapon (no special affinity) when the Ash of War is attached and allows the use of the Skill: Through and Through when the weapon is equipped.

• Dropped from an invisible Teardrop Scarab near Volcano Manor in Altus Plateau. Look for the glowing footsteps and hit it as it comes near.

• Can only be used on greatbows.
• The Standard affinity does not give a special affinity to your weapon so will not alter its natural scaling.
