There are plenty of former Firefighter Walkers and Firefighter Runners in the game that are now fully paid-up members of the undead. Fortunately some of them have their equipment lying around. It’s unlikely you will be using this to chop through flaming doors any more though.

A slightly more cumbersome version of the Agile Golf Club, but also less rare.

Another Walking Dead favorite. The Hay Fork allows you to deal decent stabbing damage, while also keeping a little bit of extra space between you and their teeth.

Another basic clubbing weapon that you are only ever going to really need when you find yourself in a bind, early game especially.

Everybody loves a Katana. It’s one of the coolest weapons in any game on the planet and allows you to slice and dice your way through the horde with ease.

There is nothing subtle to a Pick Axe in the head. Take a step, swing it back over your head and let rip. Job done.

Another old school weapon, not really to be confused with a spear as this one you are supposed to keep hold of and jab the zombies with, rather than hurling it into the distance.

There are many good gangsters shows where somebody might get a pool cue around the back of the head. Now you can live out your own Sopranos fantasy.

We really wish you could put a rake down, watch a zombie step on it and it hit them in the face, like in all the best slapstick comedy. Here you it is just another piece of wood to swing violently around.

Similar in stature to to the Bo Staff, this piece of former scaffolding can be wielded with deadly effect.

Similar to the Rake, it seems no garden equipment will be left to rot in piece when it could be used a weapon instead.

Another crushing, overhead swinging weapon that will help clear out solitary zombie opponents in front of you.

This wood chopper if all you would ever need to chopping firewood. But we also have a dual purpose for it when it comes to chopping up the undead as well.

One of the most basic weapons in Dead Island 2 - if you are in a fix, pick up a piece of damaged wood and start swinging. It is one of the first weapons you will come across in the game and yuo will find bits throughout LA. Simple but relatively effective.

The Wreckage Hammer is one of the first weapons you will come across in the game as you start to be attacked by the undead after emerging from the plane crash.

You can find the wreckage hammer in the clearing close by the plane crash during the prologue.

There’s a nice variety of swords in Dead Island 2 that will suit all ranges of chopping style. The Whispering Blade is another such weapon that will make short work of what is in front of you.

You are never far away from a piece of metal you can use to swing around an decapitate a zombie with in Dead Island 2. This sign post used to show people the way, now it shows zombies the way.

Negan in the Walking Dead made bashing zombie heads in with a Baseball Bat iconic. There are several such weapons in the game, but none are a beautiful as the Black Magic which its intricate voodoo design. It’s possibly one of the nicest weapons we have seen in a any game. Ever. And we have seen a lot of games.

Rare version of the standard Golf Club. This lighter iron is handier when you need to find the fairway of a local zombie’s head with the minimum of fuss and effort.
