The path paved by the Shielding Timber was soon followed by other craftsmen, who created the Everlasting Timber. While it boasts great durability, it offers weaker defensive properties compared to the Shielding Timber.

Heavy and durable, this near-indefatigable timber is now extremely rare to find, as the elements that comprise it can only be created by Master Forgers skilled in the Thaumaturgist arts.

The Authark armies needed a heavy timber with strong defensive properties for the polearms wielded by the troops defending their castles and fortresses. Their craftsmen set to work and, using improbable elements, created the Resilient Timber.

One of the two Epic Timbers. Sought by many and possessed by very few, this timber is lightweight and endowed with unsurpassable defensive properties. A true masterpiece of craftsmanship and magic.

By incorporating wood with other materials, polearms were endowed with a variety of unique properties. The first of these innovations was the Shielding Timber, prized for its improved defensive qualities.

In the process, the wood was inevitably densified, leading to a slightly heavier final result.

Plain timber. Neither heavy nor light, with a good balance between defense and durability - hence its name.

The Authark Craftsmen, skilled in the use of magical elements and processes, soon developed their own types of timber, with the first being the Undead Timber. Through their Thaumaturgist arts, they achieved what seemed impossible: a timber as light as it was durable.
