Heavy Armour Proficiency

Description

Heavy Armour offers the highest foundational protection among the three armour types. However, it limits mobility significantly. When Heavy Armour is worn, your Armor Class (AC) is determined solely by the armour’s AC value, without incorporating any bonuses from your Dexterity Modifier.

It’s important to note that wearing Heavy Armour does not lead to Disadvantage on Attack Rolls or hinder the casting of Spells.

Heavy Armour Proficiency is available to specific classes and can be gained through the Heavily Armoured Feat:

Classes with Heavy Armour Proficiency (Level 1):

• Cleric (Life, Nature, Tempest, and War domains)
• Fighter
• Paladin
• Ranger (Favoured Enemy: Ranger Knight only)
